Our client, an international company active in the sector of luxury goods, is currently looking to recruit a (m/f) Senior Auditor (Kempen region).

He/she will be responsible for the development, implementation and follow up of audits in order to ensure the financial stability of the organisation safeguard and optimisation of the company’s internal processes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, his/her main responsibilities will include:
- Improvement of the quality and efficiency of the audit work;
- Management and planning of various audits simultaneously with minimal supervision;
- Analyses and evaluation of potential issues and impacts of these issues on the company during audits;
- Coordination of tasks for him (her)self, Senior Analysts and Analysts;
- Communication of issues and ideas in a clear, logical and concise manner to local management, both in written and verbal;
- Execution and completion of assigned tasks with minimal supervision;
- Assistance to the Senior Manager with development and improvement of audit programs;
- Providing advice and assistance to other team members;
- Dealing efficiently with situations in which information is limited and uncertainty is always present, however still managing to reach a solid conclusion;
- Identification of areas with potential weaknesses and inefficiencies and providing local management with proposals and best practices on how to eliminate these;
- Use of Software tools to maximize the efficiency of the audit;
- Assistance to KPMG during their financial audits;
- Coaching of Senior Analysts and Analysts.

The successful candidate has a Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics combined with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in internal/external audit or a strong experience in a financial or accounting position. A professional certification such as CIA is a strong plus.
Fluency in Dutch and English is a must. Knowledge of Spanish, German and Italian is a strong plus. Good general knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes and ACL is required. Willingness to travel is required (min. 25%).

The ideal candidate is flexible and multitasking. As a team player, he/she demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills.
