For our international client in the oil and gas industry we are looking for an enthusiastic plant controller who will show initiative ;

Plant Controller

You will be responsible for all controlling, accounting and finance activities of four plants and a two holdings (national and international). The Plant Controller reports to the Finance manager.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing monthly balance sheets and profit & loss accounts;
  
• Control of day-to-day accounting/finance function, i.e. accounts receivable and payable, payments, fixed assets, stock administration, purchase & sales orders;
  
• Forecasting weekly cash flow;
  
• Monthly preparation of the VAT and wages tax return;
  
• Various supporting balance sheet activities, like intra group reconciliations;
  
• Filling reporting packages basis IFRS for headquarters;
  
• Yearly statutory and group audit;
  
• Analyses of cost price.

Education and personal skills:

• An all-round, pro-active controller or senior financial accountant, who is an entrepreneur and will not hesitate to take initiative;
  
• A hands on attitude, good communication skills and a no-nonsense mentality;
  
• HBO degree in Accountancy, Business Economics or Business Accounting;
  
• Couple of years experience in an all round financial, accounting or controllers function;
  
• Knowledge and experience with computerised systems and expertise in working with Excel;
  
• Fluent in English (in word and writing), German an advantage.
