Compliance Officer

Join an international financial institution located in Amsterdam during a period of transformation as a Compliance Officer. As a Compliance Officer you specialise in Financial Crime Compliance, or Core Compliance tasks as a key member in the compliance unit that is spread across Europe. Period: 1 year

Looking for a versatile VP-level compliance officer (Duration: 1 year) who has experience in banking compliance (Financial services), specialising in either financial crime compliance or central compliance. You will act as a senior member within the European team, communicating effectively with multiple key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Compliance & Regulatory Liaison: Manage policies regarding Conflicts of Interest and Fixed Income. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory requirements from the key regulators

• Financial Crime Oversight: Support the FCC Head in managing AML and Sanctions frameworks. You will provide high-level advisory on complex financial crime projects and ensure the integrity of our regional risk appetite.

• Regional Alignment: Travel several times a year to the offices in other countries in Europe, to align compliance standards and ensure cross-border regulatory cohesion
