Interim Management Accounting Specialist

For a bank in region Amsterdam we are recruiting for an Interim Management Accounting Specialist. Experience with application system Mass is a must. Start: asap Duration: 6 months to start with

Responsibilities Interim Management Accounting Specialist:

• Reporting/analysis: set up monthly reports and analyze P&L and headcount development based on in-depth portfolio knowledge of the business (products and clients);
• Budget/Forecasting: execute processes ensuring that all data is put in systems appropriately and provide analysis on data, focused on P&L, balance sheet and headcount
• Set up and maintain the reporting streams within and align with standardized reporting (Mass and Value Reporter)
• Process execution and optimization: Execute existing processes and work on optimization
• Work with and unlock data from information systems showing specific information
• Contribute to streamline, optimize and control processes ·
• Reconcile and monitor financials between MA and FA. Maintain mapping tables from a functional MA perspective.
• Contribute together with team in improving processes like Rolling Forecast, play a coordination role on questions following standardized reporting.
• Analyse P&L development based on in-depth portfolio knowledge of the business (products and clients);
• Perform complex analyses and convey the overall message
• Working closely together with various departments

Requirements Interim Management Accounting Specialist:

• You have a bachelor in Finance (e.g. Business Economics/Econometrics) with ambition to develop further
• You have at least 5 years’ experience in banking
• You have a strong background in accounting/controlling and excellent Excel skills.
• You have experience in delivering and preparing (monthly) management reporting with full P&L and Balance sheet scope.
• You are result driven, accurate,, a team player and a real partner in business.
• Understand finance process architecture and supporting systems
• You have experience with application Mass
