Client Accountant

Are you an analytical finance professional with a passion for real estate and client service? For an international property management organisation in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for a Client Accountant to join their Finance & Property Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full financial administration of a commercial real-estate portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting and strong stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial administration for assigned property portfolios.

• Maintain lease data, process financial mutations, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly closings and deliver client reports in line with agreed SLAs.

• Analyse portfolio performance, prepare variance reports, and support financial forecasting.

• Manage VAT declarations and coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and reporting processes.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) in Accounting, Business Economics, or Finance.

• 5 years of experience in financial administration or accounting; experience in real estate or property management is an advantage.

• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.

• Service-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
