Financial Controller

For an International Bank we are looking for a Financial Controller. Are you an experienced finance professional with a flexible mind and an aptitude for organising and structuring teamwork? WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Coordinate in the financial and other audits for all offices;

• Accounting and accounting policy related enquiries;

• Take ownership of and contributing to operational and strategic projects;

• Take ownership of the monthly financial close process;

• Coaching of junior team members;

• Prepare (management) reports including analysis of balance sheets and results (for example detailed expense analysis);

• Develop and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting;

• Manage intercompany transactions and reviewing transfer pricing policies;

• Analyse fixed assets and leases and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor degree in Business economics or Finance;

• Several years of experience in an international bank and/or auditing firm;

• English business level in verbal and writing;

• A basic understanding of the business and the relevant products;

• Advanced excel skills, including macros and queries;

• Ambitious self-starter with perseverance and ability to work independently;

• Team-player driven by a professional performance environment;

• Strong communication skills;

• Able to proactive provide pragmatic solutions and a flexible working attitude;

• Accurate and in control of financial data.
