Business Controller

For a global market leader in the field of technical, facility, real estate and project management we are looking for a Business Controller.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• In the function of Business Controller you will make sure that the customer is and remains financially 'in control'.
• As a Business Controller, you and the team are fully responsible for all monthly closings, financial management reports, budget management, forecasting, but also working capital management.
• You are an important link between the local operation and the international account management.
• This gives an interesting dynamic to the position with the necessary stakeholder management for both the international account management teams and the operational teams in the Netherlands because they will see you as their financial point of contact.
• You make an important contribution to various improvement projects, such as setting up and improving reports and making efficiency improvements.

What do we ask of you?

• A Bachelor or master's degree in business economics, Accounting or Controlling;
• Relevant work experience with a strong financial background, month-end closings and forecasts are not unknown to you;
• It is an advantage if you are familiar with and have experience with US GAAP and SOX;
• You are a team player with a flexible mindset and attitude, analytically well versed, accurate and energetic;
• You have strong communication skills, both verbally and in presentations as well as in Excel and preparing reports;
• An excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
