What you'll do:

As an Accountant P2P, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will be responsible for processing bank transactions, booking invoices, preparing VAT returns, managing environmental contributions, overseeing the company vehicle fleet, among other tasks. Your attention to detail will ensure accuracy in all areas of your work. Your ability to work independently while collaborating with a team will contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

• Process and reconcile bank transactions
• Accurately and efficiently book incoming invoices
• Prepare and file VAT returns for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany
• Manage environmental contribution filings for the Netherlands and Belgium, including audits for RecyBEM and Recytyre
• Prepare and process direct debits
• Oversee and maintain the company vehicle fleet
• Assist with various administrative and accounting tasks as needed
• Take on additional responsibilities and back up colleagues when required

The ideal candidate for this Accountant P2P role brings a wealth of experience in accounting or financial administration. Your knowledge of VAT filings and financial regulations across multiple countries will be highly valued. Your strong organisational skills coupled with your attention to detail will ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Experience with Exact or similar accounting software would be beneficial but not essential. Above all else, your ability to work independently while still being an effective team player will make you stand out.

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping or financial administration is essential
• Knowledge of VAT filings and financial regulations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required
• Experience with Exact or similar accounting software is beneficial
