Group Reporting Manager Europe
Due to continuous growth of the company and the need for further professionalisation of the reporting function, this dedicated Group Reporting Manager role is newly created to strengthen the Group Finance Europe function. Reporting into the Group CFO Europe, you will work closely with the Finance Directors of the countries and the UK Head Office.
The Group Reporting Manager Europe plays a key role in futureproofing and optimising the Reporting and Consolidation structure and cycle.
Further requirements will be:
- Optimising weekly/periodic P&L structure and reporting
- Increasing attention to Power BI to improve and optimise steering information
- Driving better insights in costs, the comparison of actuals against budget, providing recommendations
- Increasing the quality of the Consolidation at Group level through harmonisation of processes
- Reporting to HQ UK, Supervisory Board (RvC) and external stakeholders like banks and credit insurance/Insurers, including high-quality commentaries on the results
- Coordinating Budget process, challenging stakeholders
- Key driver of change (idea until execution) in terms of coordinating people / process / systems
- The importance of involving the team in the change process
- Translating financial metrics at different levels and across various disciplines
- Willing to dive into details when needed (due to the practical nature of the organization), while always maintaining an overview (helicopter view vs detail)
- Able to working in a matrix organization (direct vs indirect lines).
Background:
- Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or simular;
- Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach coupled with analytical and business savviness
- Business Partner role, experience in a similar role within international production environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion with Transformation and driving change
- (International) production industry background.
Technical Expertise:
- Experience with stock management and cost drivers
- Brainpower and zest for optimising processes
- Natural leader and influencer, connecting and liaising with all levels in the organisation.
- Excel at running a tight ship re prioritising and time management in a dynamic environment
- Building a futureproof, well thought through reporting and consolidation structure and cycle
- Limited travel in Europe and UK required
- Fluency in both Dutch and English.
