Job Vacancy: Business Controller (EMEA) Location: Apeldoorn (with the flexibility to work from home one day a week)

What will you be doing?
As a Business Controller at Holland Colours, you will be the strategic financial partner for the management team. You will help drive the organization’s growth by transforming financial data into valuable insights and ensuring that well-informed decisions are made. In a dynamic and growing company, you will act as a bridge between finance, operations, and sales. You will provide financial transparency, support management in making key decisions, and contribute to the long-term strategy. You will play a key role in our ambition to grow both organically and through acquisitions.

Your key responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic financial partner for the management team and divisional directors.
• Lead the global budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with the Corporate Controller and the Global Finance Manager.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Responsible for conducting detailed analyses of revenue, margins, and profitability.
• Report on financial results and translate findings into concrete actions.
• Develop business cases and calculate investment scenarios and profitability analyses.
• Implement cost-saving measures and optimize financial processes.
• Guide cross-departmental projects and take the initiative in process improvements.
• Actively contribute to the implementation of Qlik Sense and other financial tools.
• Be responsible for risk management and report on the progress of risk mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with various departments to support the company’s goals and drive financial performance.

Your profile:

• You have at least 8 years of experience in a business controlling role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• You have experience working in an international environment and know how to bridge the gap between sales, operations, and finance.
• You have a proactive attitude, are capable of making decisions, and guiding others in process improvements.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can translate data into concrete action plans.
• You have experience with stakeholder management and a hands-on approach.
• Experience with financial software and relevant tools is a plus.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.

The Team:
You will be part of a dynamic management team that values open communication and collaboration. You will work closely with the Head of Division, the Operations Manager, the HR Manager, and other stakeholders. You will report directly to the CFO but will work daily with the Divisional Director and other managers to implement the financial strategy. You will be part of a larger financial team, consisting of three Business Controllers, a Corporate Controller, and a Global Finance Manager.
