Solynta is transitioning from a start-up to a scale up. With the coming growth of the organization,
finance will have an important role in guiding the organization and supporting the business. To prepare
ourselves for the future, we are working on the implementation of IFRS and supporting ERP system.
The role of this vacancy has a number of defined activities but will develop based on the competencies
of the candidate and the growth of the organization.
In this role you’ll be given responsibilities and the independence to execute them. The ideal candidate
is therefor a self-starter, critical thinker but also enjoys working in a team and brings a bit of humor.
What you’ll mainly be working on:
• Supporting the annual reports process;
• Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports;
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing insights to
management;
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly financial statements;
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements;
• Implement/improve financial systems, processes and tools to support scaling business
operations;
