AR Accountant

Your Role

As an AR Accountant, you will manage the full scope of AR activities for several European entities. You’ll work closely with the AR Supervisor and collaborate with Customer Service, Commercial and Finance teams. Native-level French is essential due to a significant French customer base.

What You Will Do

• Ensure timely customer payments
• Conduct cash collection calls and resolve open account issues
• Perform bank reconciliations and apply payments, debit and credit memos
• Support month-end close and AR reconciliations
• Process rebates and manual credit notes
• Prepare monthly AR analyses (trends, variances, overdue balances)
• Maintain accurate customer master data
• Contribute to bad-debt accruals
• Ensure complete and correct invoicing
• Support internal and external audits
• Participate in improvement projects and special assignments
• Collaborate with the EMEA AR team; occasional travel may be required

Who You Are

• Native-level French speaker
• Fluent in English
• Experience in AR accounting or a similar finance role

• Able to handle AR challenges calmly, accurately, and effectively

• Hard-working, proactive and hands-on
• Accurate, analytical and structured
• Available 32–40 hours per week
• Willing to work on-site in Houten
