The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all accounting policies and practices adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the preparation and review of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS.
• Analyse complex accounting transactions and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Provide valuable insights to management teams at various levels in the organisation.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.
• Take responsibility for preparing consolidated reports, conducting automated validation checks to ensure reporting and data quality.
• Perform data quality reviews on all team deliverables.
• Support the external audit by liaising with auditors and contributing to a successful close ensuring all requirements are met.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Control, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or CA/ACCA qualification preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Effective communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Ability to bridge accounting with commercial views on sensitive topics such as revenues, market investments, net working capital, cash flows, and indirect costs.
