Your department/ team

We are searching for a Group Accountant to join our accounting team. As the Group Accountant at Smit Lamnalco, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day financial administration of several complex and comprehensive entities. This includes managing monthly closings and providing accurate management information on actuals, budgets, and forecasts. Your tasks and responsibilities

• Manage the accounting of corporate entities, such as holding, head office, and payroll entities.

• Prepare and submit monthly closings, periodic forecasts, and budgets.
• Support and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Handle CBS filings.
• Manage tax filings, including VAT submissions.
• Oversee payroll administration accounting and reporting, including WKR, in direct coordination with HR.

• Participate in ad-hoc finance projects.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Your knowledge and experience

Education and background:

• Bachelor or master degree in finance.
• 4 – 6 years work experience.

Must have skills:

• Knowledge in IFRS.
• Payroll accounting including WKR.
• VAT filing.
• CBS reporting.
• Knowledge or experience in maritime industry is a pre.
• Experience with OneStream is a pre.
• Work independently while remaining a good team player.
