Position Overview
As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role at group level—overseeing financial control for the Netherlands and taking ownership of finance activities in another international entity. You will be responsible for the accuracy and reliability of all financial reporting, managing the month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial control for both Dutch and international entities
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, compliance, and audit preparation
• Manage and mentor finance staff in the international office, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables
• Develop and monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasts across the group
• Support management with financial insights and decision-making at strategic level
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across countries

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced and self-assured finance professional who enjoys being both hands-on and strategic. The ideal candidate is eager to expand into business control and financial strategy—supporting management with business cases, modelling, and long-term planning.

• A strong finance expert with proven experience in financial control, consolidation, and reporting
• Interested in developing towards business control and supporting strategic decision-making
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of results
• Expressive, open, and comfortable in communication across cultures and teams
• Passionate about purpose-driven business and sustainability initiatives

Must-have qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial control or audit
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Residency and work rights in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship possible)
