Group Controller

As a Group Controller at this leading supplier of maritime technology it is your mission to deliver actionable financial insights that empower the business and the board to make informed, strategic decisions.

You will play a key role during reporting and budgeting cycles and operate in an international, project-driven environment with diverse stakeholders. This requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, reporting, and forecasting processes for the disciplines in your scope.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations to senior management.

• Translate financial strategies into operational plans and ensure compliance with financial reporting and legal requirements.

• Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Maintain strong relationships with budget holders across multiple departments to ensure seamless integration of financial operations.

Your knowledge and experience

• A completed Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or controlling.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (mandatory).

• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear recommendations.

• RA, RC, or Executive Master of Finance & Control (considered a strong asset).

• A proactive, ambitious mindset and willingness to grow within the organization.
