Finance Manager

Position Overview

As Finance Manager, you will take full financial ownership of the Netherlands and UK markets. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will manage reporting, compliance, and financial control activities while partnering closely with the international finance team.

The position is based in Hoofddorp, operates in an English-speaking environment, and does not include direct reports — the focus is on managing markets rather than people. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and improving processes in a growing international business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end and financial reporting process for the Netherlands and UK entities
• Ensure accurate and timely statutory and management reporting
• Manage EU VAT compliance (including VAT, ICP, OSS) and support UK VAT matters
• Oversee inventory accounting and support stock-related financial processes
• Act as the key finance contact for external auditors and support audit processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to support European growth
• Partner with the wider international finance team across multiple time zones
• Support ad-hoc finance projects linked to the European expansion

• Strong knowledge of EU VAT (VAT, ICP, OSS); UK VAT exposure is a plus

• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a desire to improve and build
• Strong communication skills in English (main working language)
