Role Overview
We are seeking a Management Accountant to act as the site controller for the Amsterdam plant – the main financial counterpart for site leadership and operations. This role carries full ownership of site management accounts and plays a vital role in financial performance, reporting, analysis, and control. You will work closely with Group FP&A and Accounting, ensuring accurate site figures while maintaining strong operational relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management accounting ownership for the Amsterdam site
• Preparation, consolidation, and explanation of monthly management accounts
• Stock/inventory control and valuation, ensuring accuracy and visibility
• Cost analysis & variance explanations, supporting operational decision-making
• Close collaboration with site operations, acting as a visible “face of finance” onsite
• Support group FP&A and reporting processes with timely, accurate data
• Partial ownership of annual reporting and reporting close tasks
• Provide financial insights and controls to drive performance improvements
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems (Oracle ERP)

• Strong analytical mindset with clear communication skills

Ideal Background:

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or similar)
• Solid experience in management accounting, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, energy, or chemicals environment (oils/energy is a strong plus)
• Hands-on understanding of cost accounting, stock/inventory, and production environments
• Experience with Oracle ERP (or similar ERP systems)
• Fluent in English
  
  Nice to Have:
• P&L responsibility experience (advantageous but not essential for medior profile)
