Your department/ team
As Group Controller, you play a key role in strengthening the financial performance, transparency, and strategic decision‑making across the entire Hittech Group. Operating at group level, you combine strong financial reporting expertise with business controlling capabilities to provide reliable insights, challenge operational performance, and support the company in driving profitable growth.
This role requires a helicopter view across multiple operating companies while maintaining the analytical rigor needed for accurate group reporting. Given Hittech’s transition toward more data‑driven steering, experience with Power BI is highly beneficial.
This role sits at the intersection of financial reporting, business controlling, data analysis, and performance management, and is ideal for someone who enjoys both detail-oriented reporting work and strategic business partnering. You will report to the group controller.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Business Controlling at Group Level
- Monitor performance of the 8 operating companies and challenge management teams using fact based insights.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment across the group and consistency in assumptions, structure, and methodologies.
- Build and maintain KPI frameworks that support steering at group and business unit level.
Data Driven Insights & Power BI Leadership
- Drive Hittech Group’s transition from Excel dominated reporting to standardized Power BI dashboards
- Consolidate data from various ERP systems into high quality, automated reporting solutions.
- Enable management teams to make faster and better decisions through interactive dashboards and performance analysis.
- Contribute to improving data quality across the group, in close collaboration with IT and the operating companies.
Process Optimization & Governance
- Identify inefficiencies in group wide finance processes (administration, reporting, consolidation) and implement improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls across the group and ensure compliance with fiscal, legal, and corporate policies.
- Promote harmonization of financial processes, reporting templates, and KPI definitions across companies.
Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Manage and improve group level month end reporting processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of financial information across all operating companies.
- Analyze group results (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and provide clear insights into trends, risks, and performance drivers.
- Perform deep dive variance analyses across companies and product lines.
- Support group audits and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Your knowledge and experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in controlling and/or Audit ideally with exposure to multi company environments.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, and cross company performance management.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI and datawarehouses
