Group Controller

Established in the mid-2010s, the company employs several hundred professionals in science and technology, collaborating to create a unique, high-throughput system based on innovative scanning probe microscopy technology.
Your department/ team
You will join a motivated and collaborative Finance team composed of professionals with diverse expertise and backgrounds. The team works closely together, fostering an open and supportive environment focused on continuous improvement and shared success.
Your tasks and responsibilities
The Group Controller plays an essential role in safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, as well as maintaining internal controls and administrative processes across the organization.
- Bookings: Supervise and validate financial entries across entities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- IFRS reporting: Prepare and review group financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
- ERP implementation: Contribute as a key finance representative in ERP implementation and optimization initiatives.
- Monthly reports: Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly management reports for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Annual report: Take ownership of the annual reporting process, aligning input from finance, operations, and external contributors.
- Auditor: Act as the main contact for external auditors during the yearly audit process.
- Data accuracy / ledger cleansing: Lead efforts to improve ledger structure and ensure high-quality financial data across the group.
- Transfer pricing: Manage and maintain intercompany pricing policies, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance.
- Payments / debtor administration: Oversee payment processes and monitor accounts receivable, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Internal audit: Coordinate internal audit activities, identify control gaps, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Your knowledge and experience
- Organization-wide exposure. You take on a central role within the finance function, with insight into processes and entities across the group.
- Ideally you are a Register Accountant
- Ideally Experience in tech-manufacturing
- Experience in IFRS GAAP
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years of big four experience
- Balanced responsibilities. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement.
