We are seeking a Head of Group Reporting for a fast-growing international organization within the consultancy and professional services sector. The company is currently undergoing a major transformation following a recent international acquisition and is building a strong, future-proof finance and reporting framework.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the Group Reporting function. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Group Controller and international stakeholders across finance, legal, and investor relations.

You will play a key role in further professionalizing the finance organization, with a strong focus on US GAAP reporting, SEC filings, consolidation processes, and implementing a robust SOX control framework.

This position offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the reporting function from the ground up in an international organization transitioning from a scale-up to a professionally structured group.

Role Overview

As Head of Group Reporting, you are ultimately accountable for the group’s external reporting process and ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and future SOX requirements.

You will own the entire reporting process, working closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements, and Section 16 filings

  • Prepare earnings materials, including earnings presentations, press releases, and supporting tie-outs

  • Manage critical elements of the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments

  • Develop and maintain a US GAAP accounting & reporting manual

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures under US GAAP

  • Review SEC documents and reports within the Workiva platform

  • Coordinate PCAOB audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors

  • Oversee document tie-outs for SEC filings, board materials, investor presentations, and earnings reports

  • Conduct disclosure research and advise on complex or non-routine transactions

  • Build and maintain a robust SOX internal control framework

  • Collaborate closely with international stakeholders including fund finance, accounting, legal, HR, and investor relations

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of consolidation and reporting tools (e.g., Lucanet)

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a senior finance professional with deep technical accounting expertise and experience in an international reporting environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, ideally combining Big 4 audit/advisory and industry

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experience in SEC reporting (10-Q / 10-K filings)

  • Experience in group consolidations and intercompany eliminations

  • CPA or equivalent professional qualification

  • Experience managing PCAOB audits

  • Familiarity with Workiva and/or Lucanet is a strong plus

  • Experience with reorganizations, M&A, or strategic transactions is an advantage

  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills

Personal Attributes

  • Senior presence with strong leadership skills

  • Proactive and hands-on

  • Ability to build and implement sustainable processes

  • Skilled in structuring and professionalizing a growing organization

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with international stakeholders

  • Flexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
