Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and management for Candid’s key entities: Stroom, Amplify, and Proprietary Media. In this role, you’ll bring strategic financial leadership to support the group’s growth objectives, oversee performance management, operational finance, reporting, and implement robust risk controls. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning financial planning with Candid’s core objectives and ensuring seamless financial operations. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Lead financial planning, analysis (FP&A), and strategic budgeting for Stroom, Amplify, and Proprietary Media, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial metrics, track performance, and develop strategies for continuous improvement across entities.
- Operational Finance Management: Manage all financial operations, from cash flow management to controlling costs, while supporting efficiency across departments.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to meet company standards and provide transparency to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong partnerships across departments to drive alignment on financial objectives, provide insights, and support informed decision-making.
- Risk Management: Implement robust risk control measures to minimize potential financial risks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Utilize financial forecasting and advanced modeling to guide strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvements, driving automation and operational efficiency within financial workflows.
Ideal Candidate
- The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience: At least 4-5 years in a finance director or senior finance role within media, marketing, or similar industry.
- Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Financial Expertise: Strong grasp of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software like Microsoft Dynamics and Exert, or similar ERP/financial management tools.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Leadership: A collaborative leader who excels in cross-functional environments and has a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Analytical Skills: Keen attention to detail with the ability to leverage data to make strategic decisions and drive efficiency.
