Our client is a globally recognised leader in the Off-Highway tyre industry, with a presence in over 120 countries across six continents. They are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dedicated team in Amsterdam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-growing, internationally oriented organisation, where you will be responsible for preparing, posting, verifying and recording customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
What you'll do:
As a Financial Accountant, your primary role will be managing customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. You will be tasked with creating invoices, submitting them to customers, and maintaining up-to-date customer files. Your responsibilities will also include processing and recording transactions, researching and resolving account discrepancies, as well as generating reports for internal use. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for invoices and expenses
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies
• Processing and recording transactions
• Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete
• Generating reports and statements for internal use
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant position will have a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. You should have at least three years of experience in a similar role within an international environment. Proficiency in SAP is essential for this role. You should be able to act independently when necessary, while being a dependable team player. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required. The successful candidate will be motivated, driven, communicative, social, down-to-earth and responsible.
