Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst Inventory to join their team in Amsterdam. This role is integral to ensuring a sound financial environment, with responsibilities including US GAAP, statutory reporting, SOX and local compliance. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to drive operational excellence and eliminate waste in processing and reporting. What you'll do:
As a Financial Analyst Inventory, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a sound financial environment through timely monthly reporting of complete and accurate inventory accounting. You will work closely with internal teams, including the inventory and supplies team, as well as external auditors. Your role will also involve implementing global financial processes and driving standardisation of the inventory accounting process.
- Timely monthly reporting of complete and accurate Inventory accounting of the Amsterdam Logistic Centre
- Ensure accurate inventory related reporting and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate obsolescence calculations and reporting based on policy
- Finance lead for inventory cycle count
- Comply with SOX, Statutory and other local reporting or filing requirements
- Liaison with internal inventory and supplies team
- Liaison with internal and external auditors
- Implement global financial processes and drive standardization of inventory accounting process
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst Inventory role will have a relevant Finance/Accounting degree and experience working within a US multinational. You should have excellent analytical and accounting skills, with the ability to work with large data sets. Fluency in English and Dutch is essential, as well as experience within a large distribution centre.
- Relevant Finance/Accounting degree required (HBO+/SPD/HEAO)
