Senior Cost Controller

We are looking for a Senior Cost Controller for a position with high visibility in a production company located in the region of Veghel. Are you a hands-on person, able to manage stakeholders, drive the business cycle, execute ad hoc analysis and timely reporting? Then this is the right opportunity for you!

Your role

Your main deliverables as our Cost Controller are improve worldwide operational measures and processes for the production, understand the complexity of the results and transform them in financial statements, go deep in the analysis and oversee reporting. You will be the interface of the department with the whole organization, being also in charge for process improvements and support the consolidation process.

As a professional, you adapt easily to dynamic and changing environments, not being afraid to face complex situations and have difficult conversations with your cross-functional stakeholders. Being an experienced Cost Controller, you will also coach and guide your team members, being the right hand of the Head of Cost Control.

Your responsibilities

• Participate and represent the department during P&L meetings, with the confidence to evaluate and identify potential process improvements.
• Be in deep contact with the business, being able to advise and make presentations to the C-Level.
• Have full command of product cost, evaluate the results, identify the potential risks to the business, advising with financial improvements.
• Consolidation and analysis of the results, managing data to support the IT department.
• Ability to navigate between the complexities of the organization and have excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders.
• Coordinate different finance sub teams and provide end-to-end operations product cost analysis and insights.

Your profile

We are looking for a person who can deal with other people, is self-directed, ambitious, and can relate and influence. You will be part of a matrix environment, so you must adaptable and have a problem solver attitude. You take ownership and have a hands-on approach.

Knowledge required:

• Master’s degree in accounting/Finance/Economics, complemented by an　RC/RA/CPA/CA
• 12+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in an international production environment.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
