Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Controller to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and develop all management control functions at a country level, collaborating with key stakeholders and partners. Your expertise in strategic analysis, financial planning, and operational performance evaluation will guide the company's financial health and business growth. You will also be responsible for liaising with third parties and corporate departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budget definition and annual forecasting process, aligning business requirements and priorities with each department.
- Oversee monthly budget control and reforecasting activities.
- Manage monthly reporting and participate in the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan.
- Develop cost and pricing models to support cost allocation and regulatory requirements.
- Control the budget of key projects and provide analytical support across the organization.
- Analyze operational and financial KPIs, identify patterns and deviations, and provide proactive advice to enhance performance.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support various departments and entities within Netherlands.
- Participate in transversal projects and initiatives, including IT solutions implementation and day-to-day corporate issues, to support both organic and inorganic growth.
- Contribute to the implementation of business and accounting procedures in line with both national and international standards.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Tax team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Provide support for project analysis, budget achievement, and the monitoring of country objectives.
Who we are looking for?
The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented and analytical professional who:
- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Control, Business Control, Management Accounting, or a related field.
- Has substantial experience in a management control role, within the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Is proficient in English, with strong communication and influencing skills. Dutch language is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of management control functions at the country level within a corporate environment.
- Has experience in leading budget definition and forecasting processes.
- Can contribute to the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapts easily to change.
