About the vacancy

To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit an Associate to join our Corporate Finance department. The Associate will be positioned to form a reliable link in our internationally operating team and will be supporting senior team members in the various corporate finance projects. This team’s activities include managing and leading the company’s corporate M&A processes, financing of NewCold construction projects, refinancing of existing operations and maintaining relations with NewCold’s shareholders. You will be based in the company’s headquarters in Breda and will become part of a team consisting of 5 professionals.

What will you do?

Pursue real estate/project/acquisition/financing projects with other team members.

Originate new deals, manage, and perform due diligence, aid in the deal making process, closing processes of share/ asset acquisitions.

Preparation of financial models, (financing) memorandums and other information

External communication with banks, advisors, lawyers, and other relevant stakeholders during the various processes.

Internal coordination and communication with all relevant NewCold departments to execute due diligence, structuring, insurance, valuation, and KYC processes.

Monitor existing financing solutions in coordination with the central and local finance/ treasury/ tax teams.

Who are we looking for?

You are a finance professional who is ready for the next step in his/her career. You are eager to learn new skills, share what you know, expand your network, and contribute to the continued growth of NewCold. You have an affinity for financial markets, and you have relevant experience regarding the cooperation with a private equity shareholder. In addition, you have/are:

• A Degree in Finance or relevant field.

• At least 2-4 years of work experience in Leveraged Finance, Structured (Acquisition) Finance, Real Estate Finance, Project Finance, Corporate/Advisory M&A, Debt Markets, Restructuring, Corporate Finance, or a similar background at a bank or consultancy firm.

• Convincing record of an active contribution to deal origination and transaction execution processes.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced transaction-driven environment.

• Independence, maturity, and self-confidence.

• Legal knowledge and experience are preferred.

• Highly proficient in English.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Excellent MS-office skills.

• Hands-on with the persistence and dedication to close deals.
