Strategy and Acquisition Analyst

Zien Group is looking for an experienced Strategy and Acquisition Analyst for the Corporate Office in Amsterdam.
We believe that the Strategy and Acquisition Analyst is a crucial role in achieving our organisational goals. With your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you will be responsible for building detailed underwriting models, analysing potential investments in existing properties, and working independently on strategic initiatives related to capex, branding, and reporting.

Overall, the Strategy and Acquisition Analyst will

• Develop and maintain detailed underwriting models for potential acquisitions and investments in existing group properties.
• Conduct in-depth financial, operational, and market analysis to inform investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Independently work on strategic projects related to capital expenditures, branding, and reporting, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Drive the preparation of materials for quarterly board meetings, ensuring accurate and timely information is presented to the Supervisory Board.
• Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and M&A and Acquisition Specialist to refine investment strategies and underwriting models.
• Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, coordinating with internal and eternal stakeholders as needed.
• Monitor industry trends and developments to inform strategic initiatives and identify new growth opportunities.
• Continuously improve analytical tools and methodologies to enhance the team's capabilities and decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company requirements throughout the investment process.

We’re looking for someone:

• With a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
• With at least 3 years of experience in acquisitions, real estate, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Who is a native English speaker.
• That is proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
