General Ledger Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a leading independent oil & gas company, founded over thirty years ago. They have grown into a large multinational company, present in 16 countries in Asia, Europe, West Africa, the Mediterranean and Latin America. As an Accountant you will be based in Amsterdam. A leading independent oil & gas company, founded over thirty years ago. They have grown into a large multinational company, present in 16 countries in Asia, Europe, West Africa, the Mediterranean and Latin America. They have headquarters in Londen and Paris and there impressive Dutch HQ is located in Amsterdam.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monthly Preparation Balance Sheet reconciliation of Key GL accounts;

- Clearing Balance Sheet Accounts;

- Liaise with Controlling on balance positions;

- Prepare recharge invoices;

- Capitalization and amortization process running;

- Assist Treasurer on Cash Flow;

- Follow up on PBC list from the auditors;

- CBS Filings in NL HFM REPORTING;

- Complete HFM (medium size companies);

- Prepare VAT declaration (NL, CY, UK);

- CIT: Documentation gathering (NL, CY, UK);

- FX rate weekly update in SAP.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

- Experience in a similar role;

- Experience with Dutch-Gaap;

- ACCA or CPA

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
