Accounts Receivables Specialist

Our client is on the hunt for a dependable and knowledgeable Accounts Receivables Specialist to join their team in Breda. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading, omnichannel marketplace that provides value-added insights, services and transaction solutions for buyers and sellers of assets and vehicles worldwide. You'll have the chance to play an active role in continually establishing and improving internal processes.

What you'll do:
As an Accounts Receivables Specialist, you will be responsible for full cycle Accounts Receivables. Your role will involve coordinating intercompany invoicing, maintaining day-to-day AR transactions, providing finance support to sales teams, and actively supporting the continuous improvement of AR processes. You will also train your team on existing and new processes, support audit requirements, oversee AR account reconciliations, prepare manual journal entries related to Accounts Receivable subledger, support with reclasses related to Accounts Receivable processes, and resolve receivable related issues with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate Intercompany invoicing
  • Maintain and review day-to-day AR transactions
  • Provide finance support to the sales teams for inquiries
  • Actively support continuous improvement of AR processes
  • Train the team on existing and new processes
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Oversee the AR account reconciliations, ensuring ledgers are clean and items are followed up
  • Prepare manual journal entries related to Accounts Receivable subledger
  • Support with reclasses related to Accounts Receivable processes
  • Resolve receivable related issues with internal and external stakeholders

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivables Specialist role, will bring a wealth of experience from a similar role. With a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a similar field under your belt, you will have excellent skills in MS Excel and MS Office in general. Knowledge of Oracle will be considered an asset, just like extended knowledge of Excel.

You must be fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment will be crucial, as will your eagerness to learn and adapt quickly. You will have excellent task prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS Office in general. Knowledge of Oracle is an asset
  • You live in the Netherlands and you are allowed to work in the Netherlands
  • Fluency in English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent task prioritization and organizational skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and succeed in a fast-paced environment
