For a worldwide market leader in Papers, Packaging and Visual Communication we are looking for a Benelux Finance Manager based in the Netherlands. Our client is Headquartered in Paris and operates in more than 30 countries. With a team of over 4,000 employees and simultaneously with a focus on ecological responsibility, they supply their customers from over one hundred distribution centers. Over the past years this organization has maintained a healthy growth, thanks to a global market approach, unique positioning and local experience, they can make sure to offer an outstanding range of products and services. Currently we are recruiting for a Benelux Finance Manager to contribute to the further growth and strengthening of this organization as market leader and most reliable distributor of papers, packaging and visual communication products.
· Together with the Accounting team in Benelux, you are responsible for a timely and accurate monthly financial closing of both the Belgian and Dutch company;
· You will control the accounting treatment of sales, margins, salaries, operational costs, etc. as well as the balance sheet;
· You will be responsible for coordinating, preparing and reporting the annual budget as well as its semi-annual review (Forecast);
· Together with your Controlling team, you prepare monthly financial forecasts and analyze deviations versus budget and prior year results;
· You closely monitor costs incurred by department and regularly discuss them with department heads;
· You control working capital and analyze deviations;
· You take care of the monthly internal reports and prepare the presentations for management, with the support of your team. You’re the key contact of external partners such as Banks, Auditors, Insurance;
· You analyze deviations from budget and previous years. You participate regularly in periodic Review Meetings with Management;
· You are responsible for the preparation and timely submission of the local financial statements for both companies;
· In cooperation with our internal and external advisors, you will prepare and coordinate the submission of the corporate tax declarations for both companies;
· You personally manage Benelux Finance Team (4 people in Belgium and 3 people in the Netherlands) and report to the France-Benelux Finance Director.
YOUR PROFILE
· You are fluent in Dutch and English.
· You have a Master's degree in an economic field and have extensive accounting knowledge.
· You have min.10 years of experience where managerial experience is necessary.
· Knowledge of FI and CO modules within SAP is a strong asset
· You have an analytical mind and very good numerical understanding.
· You are willing to work in an international context and to travel to Bruxelles on a regular basis.
· You are hands-on, eager to learn and conscientious
· You are a real team player, with positive attitude and changes
