Senior Financial Accountant

An international supplier for the Automotive industry in the area of Eindhoven is offering you a position as a Senior Financial Accountant. In this role you will be part of an ever growing company looking to add a financial with a strong background in similar functions. As the Senior Financial Accountant on this team, you get the opportunity to share your experience with colleagues and work towards a growth for the team. This specific organisation is looking for someone who's able to provide a stable contribution and looks for process improvements along the way. In the first 2/3 months, you will also travel to Spain a couple of times to manage the FSSC over there and setup all the financial processes - together with other colleagues.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the Business Partner in analyzing and understanding monthly financial results and other financial reports;
• Deliver input and output to support the Business Partner;
• Mentoring of accountants / support staff;
• Perform inventory management accounting activities (e.g. perform inventory & tooling accounting, cost price calculation);
• Perform more complicated fixed assets accounting activities;
• Perform period end closing activities for the more difficult companies (e.g. Center of Competence, Holding) and discuss with the team lead Financial Accounting;
• Review financial and management reporting activities performed by the Financial Accountant and perform the more complicated financial and management reporting activities and discuss with the team lead Financial Accounting;

Who are you:

• Relevant working experience in a Financial Accounting-role (4+ years)
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles (IFRS)
• Fluent English (spoken and written), German desirable
• Strong Analytical skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Excel
• Accurate and able to cope with deadlines easily
