Statutory Accountant

For the company Amphenol we are looking for a Statutory Accountant. The company is growing rapidly and they are the world market leader in interconnect solutions for communications. The location is Utrecht (Houten) and they have a very flexible hybrid working model. The person we are looking for comes (preferably) directly out of the Big 4 or has strong accounting experience. The company

• You take the lead in managing external and internal audits by closely coordinating and monitoring audit requests with finance and non-finance teams for 9 entities
• You take the lead in the preparation and filing of tax returns with the help of our tax consultants for 9 entities
• Prepares the annual statutory financial statements for those entities
• Preparation of analysis and ad-hoc reports needed for the audits (e.g. impairment analysis, going concern analysis, DTA analysis)
• You are able to discuss and solve audit issues with management, external auditors, internal auditors and tax consultants
• You take the lead in reviewing our COSO controls during hard close review which takes place twice a year
• You assist in preparing and filing of VAT returns and in preparing month-end reports plus other internal/ad-hoc reports

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting
• You have a minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in the Big 4
• You have knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS, preferably US GAAP as well
• You have excellent project management skills
• You are able to work individually but also in a team
• Your English is fluent, preferably Dutch as well
