This organisation is a well-respected accounting firm that provides a comprehensive range of financial services to clients across various industries. As a Chartered Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of their clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing financial advice to clients to help them make informed business decisions. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent attention to detail, be able to analyze complex financial data, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Your tasks and responsibilities
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their business operations and risks;
• Planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with professional standards and our firm's methodology;
• Leading and supervising audit teams, including providing guidance and coaching to team members;
• Reviewing and assessing the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and other audit deliverables;
• Communicating effectively with clients and engagement partners on audit findings and recommendations;
• Contributing to the development of new business opportunities and proposals;
• Staying current with industry and regulatory developments and sharing knowledge with the team and clients.

Your experience and knowledge
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field;
• CA or equivalent certification;
• Experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services;
• Experience managing and leading audit engagements;
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP of IFRS;
• Excellent project management and communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with clients;
• Willingness to travel as needed;
• Good English language skills;
• Speaking African is a plus.
