Control & Reporting Manager

Tasks & Responsibilities
Supervise period close procedures for group reporting purposes (US GAAP):
• US GAAP reporting for HQ legal entities (Netherlands group, includes around 60 entities in different countries) in SAP and Hyperion/HFM
• Review to ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions and foreign currency journal entries are processed accurately including I/C foreign exchange gains/losses
• Be in charge of the periodic/annual process of preparing and reconciling with other PepsiCo teams periodic and annual cross charges out, issuing respective invoices to PepsiCo group entities and sending them to counterparties.

Supervise other internal reporting:
• Manage and review data collection tax packages (the internal reporting requested by Corp Tax team) prepared annually for each entity.
• Manage preparation and review output for other internal management reports and requests from Corp Tax Team (i.e. quarterly tax forecasts on an entity basis).
• Manage and review preparation and submission of Country-by-Country reporting forms for the purpose of ultimate submission to US tax administrations.
• Supervise the annual statutory audits of the stand-alone local GAAP FS of Cyprus, South Africa, Switzerland, Mauritius, Ireland entities (~16 in total).

• Manage and review the process of preparing interim and final statutory accounts of the Dutch BVs (~27 entities).
• Be responsible for the local tax compliance matters for HQ entities (residing in Netherlands, Cyprus, Switzerland, Ireland, Mauritius, South Africa, Curacao) including planning and managing team members who work with local advisors preparing tax returns to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns.

Drive different process improvement projects:
• Actively pursue the finalization of automation projects currently in progress (scanning invoices BOT, tax accounting automatization).
• Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in the existing processes in order to decrease manual work and reduce time spent overall by HQ Offsh team to meet existing internal/external deliverables; create a step plan, have it approved and pursue its implementation to address identified inefficiencies.

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s/University (master) degree in Accounting/Finance.
• ACCA/CPA or equivalent
• 9+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting.
• Big4 experience is a big preference
• Experience in multinational companies, with statutory FS reporting and statutory audits
• Strong skills in financial statements preparation.
• Sound tax skills and understanding of foreign exchange transactions.
• Flexible, creative, resourceful, self-motivated with desire for self-improvement, highly committed to provide timely deliverables of a high quality
• Comfortable interacting with various (international) personnel and external advisors.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills (English; Dutch also beneficial).
• Experience with SAP GL application and Hyperion/HFM reporting.
• Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook
• SOX experience.
