The Organisation

The organisation is the world market leader in the production of machenery. From fifteen offices and together with 800 colleagues worldwide, we build the most high-quality technical solutions every day. This position is at our finance department, which has around 15 employees at the job location near Amersfoort and another 20+ employees at other locations outside the Netherlands.

The Role

In this position you support and advise the management team together with our Group controller. You do this by preparing financial reports and analyses. You coordinate the consolidation and reporting for the organisation externally and towards the shareholder (private equity). You support in the preparation of the annual report, transfer pricing documentation and other external reporting requirements. In addition, you ensure the financial integrity and transparency of the various accounting and (financial) reports in accordance with IFRS. You also optimize and maintain financial policies, procedures and processes that improve financial control. Tasks & Responsibilities:

Financial reporting and integrity

• Provide support in delivering accurate and timely (consolidated) reports to management;
• Preparatory work for the annual report, transfer pricing and other reports;
• Provide assistance with the annual budget process;
• Support in the use of Tagetik (Corporate Performance Management system) by the financial employees worldwide and the further optimization/implementation within the group;
• Implementing further standardization in the field of various reports.

Policies and internal controls

• Ensuring compliance with internal and external rules and regulations;
• Support the organization with accounting policy guidelines and ensure proper compliance;
• Carrying out checks and internal audits.

Finally, we expect you to take the initiative in proposals regarding policies, processes and procedures that improve financial control. In this position you report to the Group Controller.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting;
• Minimum of four years of work experience in a similar position within a corporate environment;
• Demonstrated understanding of IFRS;
• Excellent skills in working with ERP systems (Infor LN) and Corporate Performance Management systems (Tagetik);
• Experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel;
• Fluent in the English language and intermediate understanding of Dutch.
