Position: Our client is seeking a Financial Controller responsible for managing core financial functions, including the preparation and analysis of management reports, achieving budget targets, and managing forecasts. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for the Business Controller and provide support during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reports such as Month End Flash, Budget, Forecast, and Daily Sales.
• Contribute to month-end closings, including the analysis of profit margins and calculation of KPIs for logistics costs and trade discounts.
• Translate financial results into reports and analyses for management at both the Benelux and headquarters levels.
• Identify market trends, make forecasts, and provide recommendations.
• Support budgeting processes.
• Conduct economic and strategic scenario analyses.
• Maintain communication with management and external auditors.

Ideal Candidate for the Position:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics or Finance).
• At least four years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (at least C1); French is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with SAP, Qlik Sense, and Magnitude is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and analytical.
• Strong project management skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive approach.
