Join Ammper Europa B.V., part of the larger Invex Group, a leading company in energy sector, primarily operating in Mexico and the US, with recent expansions into the UK and Europe. We are seeking an International Financial Controller to support our growth and enhance our financial operations.
Position Overview
This permanent role is designed for a proactive individual ready to build their own role in an international setting. The focus will be on financial control, accounting, and investment management, with a significant impact on our US and European operations. Experience in energy markets and accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Health Monitoring: Oversee the financial health of Ammper HoldCo and Ammper Europa, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Streamline budgeting processes and financial reporting, producing comprehensive reports for senior management to enhance operational efficiency and foster growth.
- Financial Analysis: Continuously analyze financial statements and perform monthly budget vs. actual results analysis to inform decision-making.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop and enforce financial controls, ensure tax compliance, and protect company assets through robust policies and procedures.
- Investment Management: Manage dividend distributions and capital repayment, focusing on holding and growing investments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO, contributing to the broader financial strategy and activities across the group.
- Client Migration and Market Expansion: Support seamless client transitions, particularly in the US and Mexico, aiming to replicate successful market strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial control, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS (US GAAP is a plus) .
- Ability to quickly add value through strategic decision-making.
- Experience with international financial operations and market expansion.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce detailed financial reports.
- Ability to supervise and improve financial processes, including budgeting and tax compliance.
- Fluency in Spanish is not required, but international focus and adaptability are crucial. Fluency in English is a must
