(Assistant) Group Controller

In your position as Controller, you will work closely together with the Group Planning & Reporting manager and your main goal will be to provide all stakeholders involved with high-quality and relevant financial information. The role of (Assistant) Group Controller within Fellowmind has arisen due to strong, continued growth. You will ensure that the organization is future-proof enough to safeguard the upcoming growth (autonomous in combination with acquisitions) within Fellowmind. You will work at the head office in Barneveld/Amersfoort, where, together with four other colleagues, you will be ultimately responsible for the complete financial reporting of all domestic and foreign entities. Besides analysis and reporting, you will also be involved in process monitoring and optimization.

Your responsibilities

- Preparation and analysis of various periodic reports;
- Monthly managerial reporting/quarterly forecasting/annual strategic planning;
- Reporting your findings to the Manager Planning & Reporting and Group Finance Director;
- Thinking along in further process optimization and efficiency;
- You will be the point of contact for the Tagetik consolidation system;
- Report outcome to Stakeholders in iLevel (system);
- Assist in ad hoc reporting and analyses;
- Provide support for Tagetik users;
- Maintain/improve data infrastructure by managing database, data models (Power BI), reports (Power BI/Excel), and templates (Excel/PowerPoint);
- Administrating user rights to new (Group) Finance staff for Power BI, file directories;
- Maintain Group Finance calendar, annual wheel of recurring reporting processes.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate is energized by process optimization, analysis and reporting. You have a University working and thinking level and feel completely at home within an international organization. Although the financial administration of the foreign entities is carried out by foreign colleagues, you will often encounter with them if you need certain information.

Important considerations on the competences part:
- A completed education at Univeristy level, such as Business Economics / Finance & Control;
- A minimum of 1-2 years' work experience in another finance job;
- Affinity with Power BI to start making new optimizations;
- You are reliable and a deadline is a deadline;
- Good timemangement skils and you are flexible in your work + you can deal with peak moments.
