Group Controller

For a fast-growing international technological company based in Eindhoven we are currently searching for an Group Controller. The main activities are concentrated on the subsidiaries, with an responsibility reporting and finance & accounting.

Permanent Establishment
• Full service provider for the subsidiaries and PE’s to be compliant (eg statutory requirements and shareholder resolutions)
• Contact person for auditors
• Contact person for legal (contractual) matters in alignment with local/regional legal responsible
• Contact person for Headquarter
• Identify tax risk and align with BPO
• Perform for internal control checks

Reporting
• IFRS-package (year-end) in close cooperation with (BPO)
• Preparation and running Month End and Year End Closing, in close cooperation with BPO and entities
• Liquidity planning and reporting

Finance & Accounting
• Delivering advice on accounting and reporting issues
• Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures
• Preparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts and evaluate financial situations of subsidiaries and signaling risks and opportunities: capital injections needed or evaluate credit limits or dividend payment
• Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process - both via automation and control.
• Participating in annual and interim audits
• Coordinating the accounting and month end closing process within the entity and its subsidiaries and PE’s
• Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting

Your contribution
• Responsible for serving 24 legal entities and permanent establishment
• Ensure compliant organization according legal/internal regulations
• Internal and external reporting according to IFRS-guidelines and Dutch local GAAP. Organizing and coordinating internal, external and corporate audits
• Close collaboration with Financial Officer

What distinguishes you
• Bachelor / Master or relevant experience
• 5-10 years of proven experience in a finance / accounting role
• You work on your own initiative, taking an analytical, results-oriented and structured approach
• Self-starter, who enjoys working independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working in a timely and accurate manner
• Result driven with a proactive attitude
• Fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of ERP-SAP
