What you'll do:

As a Legal Counsel at Omron, you will play a crucial role in advising on legal matters pertinent to the business activities. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing international contracts, providing independent advice on all matters related to employment and employee benefits, and assisting HR departments on legal matters throughout the employment cycle. You will also be expected to anticipate and advise on upcoming legislation relevant to Omron’s activities. In addition, you will support various regional and corporate projects while collaborating with other legal counsels.

• Advise on legal matters relevant to the business activities, including drafting and reviewing international contracts
• Independently advise on all matters related to employment and employee benefits from a legal point of view
• Assist the HR departments on legal matters throughout the employment cycle from hiring to termination
• Anticipate and advise on upcoming legislation relevant to Omron’s activities
• Support various regional and corporate projects
• Collaborate with other legal counsels related to their dedicated business areas

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Legal Counsel position at Omron will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. You should hold a university degree in Dutch law and have approximately 3 years of working experience gained at a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel at another multinational. Your experience should include drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial (international) agreements. Specialised knowledge regarding employment law is essential for this role. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach, an accurate and strong analytical mind, and excellent business acumen. You should be an enthusiastic team player with a proper service attitude, down to earth, flexible but firm. A positive, energetic mindset is crucial for this role. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, and additional languages would be beneficial.

• University degree in Dutch law
• (Preferably international) working experience gained at a law firm, or as in-house legal counsel at another multinational; in relevant industries
• Experience in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial (international) agreements
• Specialised knowledge regarding employment law
• Proactive, accurate and strong analytical mind
• Business acumen
• Enthusiastic team player with proper service attitude, down to earth, flexible but firm.
• Positive, energetic mindset.
• Fluency in Dutch and English. Additional languages (written and spoken) would be beneficial
