Paralegal / Compliance officer

LCN Capital Partners is a US based private equity firm specializing in real estate investments across Europe and North America. For LCN Capital Partners and specifically their European Legal team, I'm looking for a Compliance / Paralegal officer.

The Junior Paralegal / Compliance officer will support the European Legal team in managing Compliance processes, conducting due diligence on counterparties, and ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulatory obligations. The role also provides Paralegal support on corporate governance matters and investment transactions.

Paralegal support:

• Support the drafting, review, and organization of legal documents, NDAs, and other agreements.
• Maintain company registers, corporate filings, and governance documentation.
• Assist with entity formations, resolutions, and board materials.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal teams on legal and compliance matters.
• Conduct basic legal research and prepare summaries or briefing notes.

Compliance support:

• Undertake the periodic KYC/AML requests and assist in ongoing screening and periodic reviews of existing entities.
• Collect, review, and verify KYC documentation (e.g., corporate structures, identification documents, source of funds).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date KYC records in compliance databases and systems.
• Support onboarding processes for new entities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law;
• 0-2 years of experience in Compliance, or Paralegal work — ideally within private equity, real estate, asset management, or financial services.

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required. Dutch is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations and corporate structures.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
