Legal Counsel

Tasks and responsibilities

· Responsibility for a variety of legal matters with reporting line to the Head of Legal Netherlands

· Legal advice to all companies in Netherlands as well as to the management, the various departments and project teams inNetherlands, e.g. leasing, construction project management, , marketing and shopping center management

This includes a.o.

o legal support in all legal aspects related to the operation, development and management of shopping centers;;

o preparation of legal recommendations and support in contract negotiations and court approvals;

o advising on real estate law (commercial lease agreements within the scope of Section 7:290 of the Dutch Civil Code), in particular providing support in lease disputes, service charge matters, legal proceedings relating to debt collection and insolvency, disputes and cooperation with municipalities, inter alia in relation to permits, as well as legal support in real estate transactionsSupport with governance and compliance issues and data protection.

Work experience (years): appr. 5 years

Legal Counsel (or attorney-at-law) with in-depth knowledge of real estate law, specializing in commercial lease premises within the scope of Section 7:290 of the Dutch Civil Code; knowledge of compliance and data protection is considered an asset.

Language skills: English good
