Operations Lead

For an innovative beverage technology scale-up, we are looking for an Operations Lead – Beverage Capsule Systems. In this role, you will play a key part in industrializing and scaling a unique all-in-one beverage system using liquid capsules. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, production, and supply chain. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building, optimizing, and taking ownership from concept to market launch.

About the role

• As Operations Lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end operational readiness and scale-up of liquid beverage capsules.
• You manage external co-packing partners and suppliers, ensuring reliable production, quality, and availability.
• A key part of the role is translating product and system requirements into clear, scalable technical specifications and maintaining them throughout the product lifecycle.
• What makes this role unique is the combination of hands-on operational leadership and strategic scale-up challenges within a fast-growing environment.
• You work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams and report directly to the CTO.
• The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and has been created due to company growth and upcoming market introductions.

Who we are searching for

• You have a technical background in engineering, food science, packaging, or a related field, combined with experience in operations, industrialization, or production within FMCG, food, or beverage environments.
• These skills are essential as you will continuously balance technical requirements, supplier capabilities, and commercial timelines.
• You thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting where processes are still being built and improved.
• We are looking for a pragmatic, structured professional with strong attention to detail and a hands-on mindset.
• You communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders and are comfortable taking ownership.

• You will receive a competitive salary between €70,000 and €90,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
