Position overview
The Buyer is part of the Supply Chain / Procurement team and is responsible for sourcing materials, components and services in line with production planning, quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on operational purchasing activities, supplier coordination and continuous improvement, while working closely with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Production, Engineering and Quality.
Key responsibilities

Procure production materials, components and services in line with planning, quality and regulatory standards

Negotiate pricing, contracts and lead times with suppliers

Create, manage and monitor purchase orders and confirmations in the ERP system

Track supplier performance and manage delivery issues, deviations and complaints

Resolve invoice discrepancies and material shortages

Maintain purchasing documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS)

Support supplier qualification, evaluation and KPI monitoring

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and internal quality requirements

Contribute to cost reduction, process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support production and new product introductions
Candidate profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry or a related field
-
2–3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing
-
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485 or similar)
-
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and compliance
-
Comfortable working with ERP systems and cross-functional teams
-
Proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset
