Senior R&D Engineer – Product Maturation

We are preparing for an exciting market introduction in the US and Europe and are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to help mature our system for stable mass production. This is a hands-on, technically deep role where you will ensure our appliances and capsules are robust, manufacturable, and high-performing at scale. You will work at the intersection of R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, helping translate prototypes into reliable products ready for launch.

About the Role

• As Senior R&D Engineer – Product Maturation, you will strengthen, optimize, and industrialize the current product design.
• Your work will focus on technical risk reduction, validation expansion, and production ramp-up support.
• Key responsibilities include improving appliance and capsule robustness, optimizing thermal and pressure systems, supporting manufacturing partners in China and Europe, and reducing variability across pilot builds.
• You will lead DFMEA updates, support tooling and process optimization, and translate field learnings into structured engineering improvements.
• Reporting to the Chief / Lead Engineer, this is a full-time role that has become available to support upcoming international product launches.

Who we are searching for

• We are seeking an experienced mechanical or mechatronics engineer with 7–10 years in electromechanical product development, ideally with a track record of taking products from prototype to mass production.
• Strong expertise in pressure systems, fluid mechanics, thermal system design, injection molding, and thermoforming is essential.
• You thrive in late-stage development under time pressure, have strong analytical skills, and are comfortable working across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Your technical rigor and structured problem-solving ability are crucial to ensure product stability and performance consistency at scale.
