R&D Test Engineer

We are looking for an ambitious R&D Test Engineer to join a fast-growing beverage technology scale-up. You will play a key role in testing and validating a unique capsule-based beverage system in preparation for market introduction in Europe and the US. About the role

• As an R&D Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating both the appliance and the specialized beverage capsules, individually and in combination, during industrialization.
• You will analyze test results, optimize designs, and contribute to improvements in manufacturing processes. Your work ensures product performance, safety, and quality compliance.
• This role is unique because it combines hands-on testing, CAD-based prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration with international suppliers.
• You will assist with 3D design, prototype development, and coordinate logistics for test materials.
• You will also support production monitoring and validation at partner locations abroad.
• The role is full-time and provides a rare opportunity to work directly on a proprietary beverage system that is preparing for global rollout.
• You will report to the product development team and collaborate closely with engineering, suppliers, and production partners.

Who we are searching for

• We are seeking a motivated and hands-on engineer with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• You have experience in product development, industrialization, testing, and validation, and you are comfortable working with prototyping equipment and CAD software.
• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven. You enjoy solving technical problems independently but also thrive in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with turning, milling, injection molding, or thermoforming is a plus. Strong communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of Dutch or Mandarin is advantageous.
• International travel to suppliers and production partners is part of the role, so flexibility and adaptability are key.
