Our client is a well-established, global logistics and supply chain solutions provider, trusted by leading international companies for over 50 years. With headquarters in the US and regional offices across Asia and the Netherlands, the organisation operates as a preferred partner for international 3PLs, synchronising every part of the supply chain to ensure global efficiency. Their proprietary software platform serves as the central nervous system for each customer's supply chain, and continuous innovation of this platform is a key focus area. For their Rotterdam office, they are now looking for a long-term addition to the team, someone ready to go the extra mile for their customers in a fast-paced, collegial environment.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinating all facets of the supply chain process with the various supply chain stakeholders
• Timely and accurate entry, maintenance and monitoring of origin bookings and shipments in the company's platform
• Timely and accurate entry, maintenance and control of Real Time Notifications (RTNs) according to company procedures and customer SOPs
• Collecting, following up on, checking and processing (electronic) documents from vendors and carriers
• Creating and issuing invoices to suppliers and customers
• Daily follow-up and execution of export shipments out of the EMEA region, allocated through the company's global network of agencies
• Guiding and assisting vendors with export-related matters and platform usage
• Creating, maintaining and updating files/shipments through MS Teams and the company's platform
• Coordinating with stakeholders, creating freight/origin service quotations for customers and vendors, issuing BLs, filing AMS and other related tasks
• Assisting with the coordination and implementation of new customers, vendors, agents and/or carriers
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction; handling enquiries, claims and complaints
• Reviewing performance with customers and cooperating with the operations team to meet agreed KPIs
• Defining, measuring and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage

What we're looking for

• A completed Bachelor degree
• 1–3 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding or retail supply chain is preferred.
• Experience with ocean, air, road transport and/or import/export compliance is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mature, enthusiastic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are a strong plus.
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and stay composed under pressure
