About the role

As a Logistics manager you direct all activities related to inbound and outbound equipment, storage and transport. Your goal is to deliver optimal logistics performance, with quality and service at the centre. You have a good eye for monitoring the execution of daily processes and systems. By actively using steering information, you and your team know how to make it a race to achieve the objectives.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and implementing the department's annual plan and monitoring the budget;
• Control and coordinate logistics processes and oversee their quality, cost and efficiency;
• An active input in the continuous process of quality improvement (both process-, customer- and employee-oriented). Liaising with other officers/departments within the company;
• Monitoring compliance and correct implementation of the SCC, health & safety, environmental and safety policies;
• You are a sparring partner for the management in terms of strategic policy regarding logistics activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• A driven, committed and decisive colleague with insight into logistics processes;
• You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking;
• Enterprising and proactive;
• Quality, customer and result-oriented;
• With coaching and social skills;
• Analytical and convincing;
• Stress-resistant and prioritising.
