This position is within the global Planning team, an essential part of the Supply Chain and Procurement organization. Their goal is to achieve top-tier service and inventory performance by collaborating across the entire Supply Chain. Through strong partnerships, they aim to deliver exceptional performance, growth, and optimal cost and service for their customers. The planning team focuses on enhancing agility in the Supply Chain with a segmented strategy, allowing them to respond swiftly to market changes and maintain high levels of customer service.

The Market planning team oversees the overall volume management for global shipments, production, and inventory from their supply sites in Europe. Serving as a consistent liaison to all markets, the team ensures end-to-end value across the network. As a Supply Chain (Market) Planner, they will be the primary contact for a designated market, optimizing the Market Supply (replenishment) plan over the full horizon. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders while maintaining a responsive and flexible approach.

The Supply Chain (market) planner is the key point of contact between our supply sites and an assigned market to optimize the Supply network plan for the full horizon. The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Optimize the Supply Chain KPIs by balancing Service, Volumes & Inventory for the end-to-end network of your assigned market - Analyse and evaluate the supply shipment plan and net despatch requirements to satisfy customer needs considering network complexity and supply constraints
  • Market Intelligence & Analytics - Own, review and understand the demand signal (Shipment plan) for the full horizon and be an ambassador of market requirements within supply, material planning and operational teams
  • Lead the S&OP Supply Review for the assigned market, analysis and understanding key trends, track and manage allocations and lead innovation and renovation projects for your assigned market
  • Own the supply network data configuration for the assigned market and make sure that is appropriately reflected in the planning system (SAP APO)
  • World Class Relationships & communications – Be the main point of contact between the Global Brands supply sites and the Markets supply chain & the regional customer service teams. Lead the planning improvement agenda with the assigned market.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a top institution, along with at least 5 years of relevant end-to-end Supply Chain planning experience in a leading organization.
  • Proficiency in using ERP and/or planning systems (preferably SAP ECC6 and/or APO) is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • The candidate must remain positive and proactive in ambiguous environments and challenging situations, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to network and influence individuals from diverse cultures and at all organizational levels. They must hold themselves and others accountable for clarity in roles and responsibilities.
